For well over a decade Matt Cliff has worked closely with artists and companies far and wide to develop their brands. His attention to detail and care for their needs and stories has helped him to build a strong body of work and even stronger relationships with his collaborators. Growing up in Fort Worth, Texas in a single parent, low income household, Cliff watched his mother balance multiple jobs to make ends meet with poise and grace. Her work ethic and cool demeanor in the face of pressure and adversity, molded Cliff into a hardworking adult pulling 70+ hour work weeks balancing endless restaurant jobs and school, while chasing down his dream of creating beautiful and meaningful work for artists he admired. That nose to the grindstone work ethic is apparent in his willingness to take on difficult, tedious, and quick turnaround projects and deliver. In late 2022, with the support and love of his level headed wife, Cliff took a leap into the world of freelancing as an artist full time. His list of clients to date include: Leon Bridges, Post Malone, The Killers, Charley Crockett, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats, Midland, Maren Morris, The Black Angels, and Roky Erickson/The Thirteenth Floor Elevators. Cliff has also worked on projects with The Dallas Cowboys, Raising Cane's, The Dallas Mavericks, The Texas Rangers, and Psycho Bunny. Cliff's work begins and ends with a passion for finding gold and meaning in any project that lands on his drafting table. It is important first and foremost, that the visual matches the client and the outcome feels authentic to their audience. If this remains at the forefront of a project, it will always be successful!
